I'm the Same Girl You Met Yesterday

Yeah yeah, I know I look different compared to the day before but trust me. I'm the same person. The only difference is my hair. This hairstyle is obviously in braids and is dark brown while the the other hairstyle was a short light brown bob. But I'm going to be upfront with you, that that, dear reader, was a wig. And I'll be the first to admit it. I just recently starting wearing it for the fun of it (I've always wanted to try out short hair but have never put the scissors to my own mane) although I do NOT plan to wear it all the time. I think my semi-long dark curly hair defines me (and yes it's my real hair this time-even if it is in braids). My hair makes me feel exotic and just different. And by different I mean in that, yes-I-enjoy-being-mixed-and-will-proudly-admit-my mother-is-from-the-islands-and-both-of-my-parents-have-bestowed-me-their-awesome-features-hence-my-appearance sort of way.

 The weather was beautiful outside.

I'm perfectly aware that it is still winter but I felt like dressing as if I was heading to the beach. Well, that and I have been eyeing this Chico's skirt that's been hanging in my mom's closet for ages and just had to wear it. The hat is a souvenir my mom bought from her vacation in Florida a while back and the earrings are from Charlotte Russe. The shirt I am wearing is from Burlington. I purchased it forever ago and I've been itching to wear it. So you can only guess my delight with the warm weather and can only imagine how fast I reached for it. It was near 80 degrees outside, why wear shoes? :)
